Setting Up Your Business in Orangescrum

When you first log in, personalize your workspace to reflect your organization’s identity.

You can:

  • Add your company name and logo to keep your workspace on-brand.
  • Configure time zones, date formats, and working hours to match your region.
  • Adjust email notifications to control how and when you get updates.

Setting Up Your Project Preferences

Every user can personalize their own workspace experience.

  • Choose your default project view (List, Kanban, or Gantt).
  • Select your start day of the week and preferred calendar format.
  • Set task notification preferences for reminders and updates.
  • Create custom fields for projects or tasks if you need to track unique data points.

Inviting Your Team

Collaboration begins by adding your team to Orangescrum.

  • Invite members via email directly from your User Management page.
  • Assign each member a role — Admin, Manager, or Team Member — depending on the level of access required.
  • Create groups or departments to organize your workspace as your team grows.

Inviting Clients to Projects

Once a client is added, you can invite them to specific projects to collaborate transparently.

Clients will only see the projects they’ve been invited to.

  • Open the project you want to share.
  • Click Project Settings › Members.
  • Select Invite Client and choose their email from your client list.
  • Define their permission level (view-only, limited edit, or comment access).

Managing Work

Projects are at the core of Orangescrum.

  • Click New Project to start.
  • Add project details like name, duration, description, and budget.
  • Assign team members and define milestones or sprints.
  • Add tasks and subtasks directly inside the project.
